presently operates by word of mouth referral only. Any advertising you may see about us generally is in
conjunction with a charitable event or for the benefit of
our clients (a news story featuring a project).
Thus we are virtually unknown outside of our client
group. After 18
years in business, our client group is now referring so much
work that we are unable to consider leads for projects that
come from other sources.
This is one of the ironies of RCB that have endeared
us to so many people.
RCB
performs higher end residential renovation services
throughout the Capital Region.
This work includes additions and alterations of
virtually any scope.
Project values have ranged from a few thousand
dollars to over $1million.
Master suites and gourmet kitchens are currently in
high demand. Allow
at least 3-6 months for small projects and 6-12 months for
larger projects.
Every
few years RCB will build a new home to take a breather from the
rigors of remodeling. RCB
does not own building lots so the new home client usually has his own
land. Typically,
RCB methodically design builds a new home at a pace
comfortable to the owner at an average minimum cost of $150.00 per
square foot (for the main house).
RCB
works with several local architects and interior
designers, although many times the owner has already hired
their design professional.
The best time to start a new home is in the April to
July time frame and you should begin planning 12 months in
advance.
RCB
has also developed a niche commercial business expanding
dental practices. This
began, of course, with the expansion of a dental practice on
site; that is, the doctor did not relocate and we built a
larger facility via additions and alterations while her
practice remained open.
About half of our dental remodeling work is of this
nature and the other half involves renovating a new location
and then moving the practice.

Finally,
RCB has extensive millwork and cabinetry capability. While we do not have our own centralized shop, we have long
term relationships locally which allow us to produce
outstanding cabinetry for our kitchens and other residential
needs as well as a full line of dental cabinetry.
Our cabinet work is exclusively designed for each
client to fit their needs.
